OA Policy

Open Access, Archiving, and Article Processing Charges

Open Access Policy

All research articles published in ISTP journals are freely and permanently accessible to readers worldwide. This means that all published content may be read, downloaded, and shared without subscription or access fees.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license, subject to the following terms:

  • Attribution — Users must provide appropriate credit to the original author(s) and source, include a link to the license, and indicate whether any changes were made.
  • NonCommercial — The material may not be used for commercial purposes.
  • NoDerivatives — If the material is remixed, transformed, or adapted, the modified version may not be distributed.
  • No Additional Restrictions — No legal terms or technological measures may be applied that would restrict others from exercising the rights permitted by the license.

Through this open access model, ISTP seeks to promote the widest possible dissemination of scholarly knowledge and to support the free exchange of scientific information among researchers, educators, students, policymakers, and the public.

Digital Archiving Policy

ISTP journals are committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, availability, and accessibility of all published content.

To support permanent digital preservation, electronic copies of all published volumes are archived through recognized preservation and repository systems, including the Keepers Registry via the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), as well as the Internet Archive. These archiving arrangements are intended to ensure that published articles remain securely preserved and accessible over time.

By maintaining reliable digital archiving practices, ISTP aims to protect the scholarly record and ensure the continued availability of published research for future generations of readers and researchers.
