Special Issue or Thematic Collection proposals should normally use the journal's dedicated proposal portal when available. Questions concerning a new Special Issue proposal should follow the portal instructions; the current proposal page directs submissions to the publisher/general contact address.

No routine APC invoices under the current waiver

Plant Science Horizons currently waives article processing charges through 2029. Authors should therefore not expect a routine APC invoice for a manuscript covered by the current policy.

Any future change in charges should be announced transparently on the journal website. Authors receiving an unexpected payment request should verify it with the journal or publisher using the official addresses listed on this page before making payment.
