Crossmark, from Crossref, provides a standard way for readers to locate the current version of a scholarly publication.

Plant Science Horizons recognizes the importance of maintaining the integrity, transparency, and completeness of the scholarly record. By clicking the Crossmark button associated with published articles, readers can determine whether updates, corrections, or changes have been made after publication.

Crossmark may also provide additional publication record information related to the document, including correction notices, updates, retractions, or supplementary metadata.

Publication Types

Article Type Short Description
Addendum Publication item providing additional information regarding another publication, usually presenting supplementary results.
Case Report Detailed report of symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of an individual case or patient.
Correspondence Letter to the editor or response to previously published correspondence.

Duplicate Accidental duplication of an article. The publication record is updated to indicate duplication status.
