Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial evaluation by the Editor-in-Chief or an assigned editor to assess suitability, formatting compliance, scholarly quality, and plagiarism screening.

Manuscripts that pass initial screening are sent for double-blind peer review to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

Under the double-blind review model:

Where detailed revision is required, reviewer and editor comments will be returned to authors for response and revision.

Originality & Plagiarism

Plant Science Horizons does not accept plagiarism in any form. Submitted manuscripts must be original and must not have been published previously or be under consideration elsewhere.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources are properly cited and acknowledged. Cases involving plagiarism, duplicate publication, or publication misconduct are handled according to accepted ethical publishing standards and editorial policies.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes one volume per year with two issues annually. Articles may also appear online as Early Access before assignment to a specific issue.
